Peaches

Peaches was a UNR feral kitten when she was trapped by me. She was
missing an eye, and very thin. After two months of trying to trap her, I
finally got her, took her to the SPCA, where they do "trap and release",
which includes spaying, shots, and feline leukemia testing, but instead
of releasing her, I took her home. (I donated the adoption fee and then
some to the SPCA for their hard work.) She was 6 months old, generally
considered too old to be domesticated. She quickly learned to trust me
and loved me so much that I couldn't help but love her back. This earned
me the title of the "cat whisperer" at the SPCA. After developing
infection in the eye twice, Dr. Sandoval saw her, quickly assessed the
situation, operated and removed a remnant of her previously normal eye
(I assume). Though this surgery could have affected her good eye in a
bad way, it was a job well done, and she is doing very well, seeing well
with her remaining eye. She plays alot, and has so much love in her
little heart that her parents could never part with her now.

Thanks,

Molly LaCombe
