BBVH holds an after hours puppy party on the last
Wednesday of each month.
The festivities begin at 7:00. This is a
chance to learn more about puppy behavior
(we usually have a guest speaker who is a local dog trainer,
Dog Training by PJ) We
discuss puppy health care and preventative medicine. The attendees
receive gift bags and there are refreshments for the humans.
The most enjoyable part of
the evening is watching the herd of puppies interact and explore the
hospital.
The different behaviors from the different breeds is
intriguing (and predictable?)
Puppies must have had their second set of
vaccinations and if a recent fecal exam indicated Giardia, they must
be finished with their treatment
