Bansi was born in India and attended veterinary
school there. She came to the United States in 1977. She has worked in
the Reno area ever since. Her professional interests are emergency
medicine and critical care. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, biking and sailing. She is owned by 2 dogs and 1 cat (Brock, Molly, & Nickel) She is married to Michael, and they make their home in Carson City. Favorite restaurant is John Ascuaga's Steak House. Favorite book is Lord of the Rings. |
Cheryl has been a member our staff for 22 years. She chose this field because she loves animals. When Cheryl is not at work she is spending time with her family. She is married and has three children. Her oldest daughter, Chelise, is a chemistry teacher in Ely. Cheryl's son, Dan has a welding business and lives in Big Piney, WY. , and her youngest daughter, Cami, is a recent graduate of McQueen. Aside from taking care of her kids, Cheryl enjoys her house and her herd of animals, and especially being a grandma to Cade Allen. |
Keena was born and raised in Reno. She has
three brothers. She was an 1988 graduate of Wooster High. She has a
daughter, Sara. She is married Andy Cumba.. Andy hails from Butte, Montana. Keena has married into a large family, Andy has 8 brothers and sisters. Keena has two cats, Moona and Mini. and also two dogs, Gage and Mina. Keena began working at BBVH in 1998. She began as a receptionist, but is now the supervisor of the doctor's assistants. She is constantly striving to know as many clients as possible on a first name basis. Keena has a special interest in cats, and in all her "spare time" she has a busy pet sitting business . |
Jessica is a graduate of
Reed High School. She is a Reno native, and has a brother who is
twelve. Her favorite movie is "Pretty Woman." Her favorite cooking is
her mom's (the politically correct answer!) and her favorite restaurant
is Beto's. Jessica is our head receptionist,
and doing a great job.

| I grew up in the Bay area, and moved to Reno in August, 2002 and took a position at BBVH. I am the operations manager here at BBVH. My hobbies include riding dirt bikes, watching NASCAR, and listening to country music. | Tandle was born in Ft. Lenardwood, Missouri in 1979, and moved to Reno when she was just 3 months old. Tandle has been a member of the BBVH team since August, 2000. Tandle married her high school sweetheart in 1998. They share their home with four children, 2 cats, and a gold fish. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and spending time with her family, (except on Saturdays when she goes Clubbin') |

| My name is Barbara and I've been with BBVH since 2001. I was born in California but raised in Florida horse farm country. I have a love for large and small animals and a slight southern drawl. Animal medicine is the biggest part of my life right now as I am a recent graduate of the Truckee Meadows Veterinary Technician Program. I enjoy my job and I'm lucky to be working at a technologically advanced hospital. When you visit our hospital you'll probably meet me. I wear a nametag but I'll also be the one that calls your pet Love Bunny! | Susan was born in Los Angeles, CA. She moved to the Lake Tahoe Basin when she was 3 years old, and has lived there for most her life. She attended Western Career College in Sacramento, where she graduated with honors with an AS degree in Veterinary Technology. She is a licensed LVT in the state of Nevada. Susan now lives in Tahoe City with her partner of four years, Kelly, and her step children Caitlin and Justin. She has a dog, 3 cats and a guinea pig named Joey |
I am a part time technician here at Baring; I have been here since August of 2005. I am a registered Veterinary Technician with a license in both California and Nevada. Before coming to Baring I worked for Animal Emergency Center for the past eight and a half years. In December 2005 I graduated with a Bachelor degree in psychology with a minor philosophy and a second bachelor degree in criminal justice and pre-law. I have a four-year-old son who is my world and free time is spent playing trains with him

Jennifer has been with the Baring family for seven years, and lucky for Dr. Baker she has been his assistant for six of those years. She has recently started traveling and her favorite destination was New Zealand. She would like to have duel citizenship to be able to live and work there part of the year. Alaska is her next adventure and then its off to China. She is looking forward to being apart of the Baring family for many more years to come.

Melissa has been a member of BBVH since November of 2003. She was a back staff assistant until September of 2005 when she was asked to become an exam room assistant. She loves working with animals and cant imagine working anywhere else. She shares her spare time her dogs Sierra and Peachy, and her cats Eeyore and Roo.

Marsha currently lives in Dayton with her eight year old son, Jeffery. She has been with our hospital for one year and we are very happy to have her. She shares custody of her two dogs Kage and Sadie. Her favorite food is Mexican

My name is Lauren and I am 20 years old. I graduated from Spanish Springs High School in 2003 and since then I have been attending college. My major is declared as Early Childhood Education, but as of right now I am not too sure if that is what I want to be doing. I enjoy working at Baring because the staff and Doctors are great and I like to work in an environment where I know I am making a difference. When I am not working I love spending time with my seven-month-old Beagle named Rylee (she keeps me pretty busy), or hanging out with my friends.

Ive been working at BBVH for three months now. I was born and raised in Sacramento and moved to this area with my husband Chris. We have two pets, Picky, a nutty tabby kitty and Daisy, a spoiled black Lab. In my spare time I like to go camping and I also love interior design. Right now Im studying to be a registered nurse.

Jessie is a receptionist here at Baring. She has been working here since the fall of 2004. She is originally from Ely, Nevada and is now attending the University of Reno Nevada and majoring in Criminal Justice. She plans on graduating in 2008.

Cheryl has been here at Baring for one year. She has been in the area for 23 years. Born in Washington DC and lived in many different places including Colorado, Washington, Michigan, Montana, New York. She has been married for 20 years, has two daughters and two granddaughters. She enjoys her job here and is looking forward to many more.

I moved to Sparks from Mexico where my family has lived for over 30 years. I have five children and four grandchildren. My Husband Rick and I really like this area and I enjoy working at BBVH. The people and animals are great | |||

I have been with BBVH since May of 2004. I have been working with animals for eight years. I have two dogs, (Gauge and Drayk) two horses ( Cody and Stretch) and one cat (Jahba the Hut). Im 24 and I like socks especially knee socks

Garrett was born and raised in Elko, NV and moved to Reno/Sparks are in the fall of 2003. I started working at BBVH in October of 2003 as well a do it all kind of guy, mostly kennel work. Then I was later promoted to a technician assistant in the fall of 2004. I am currently studying to be a licensed technician. In my spare time I enjoy playing my drum set, video games and spending time with my dog Vicki and my cat Sierra, or as some people call her Fatty McButter Pants. My favorite movies would have to be Oceans Eleven, Anchor Man and Domino. When I was a kid, I was in the 4H program working with all kinds of animals, mostly small farm animals. Lynne is a 20 year old who is a sophomore at UNR and is majoring in business. In her free time she loves driving/racing her 99 mustang. She also likes to go running with her Australian Shepard Toby.
